Alex Gonzalez Featured in FORBES Article For His Tequila – “Tequila Mala Vida”

Latest Drum News

Forbes Shivani Vora recently posted an interview with Alex Gonzalez

Excerpt from the article:

“As the drummer and songwriter for the Mexican bands Mana and De La Terra, Alex Gonzalez, 52, can lay claim to being one of Mexico’s most famous and respected rock stars.

Of course, he loves being a musician, but Gonzalez says that he’s equally passionate about his lesser-known side pursuit as the founder of Tequila Mala Vida, a high-end brand of the eponymous spirit. Launched in 2016, the line, which is Kosher and has no GMO’s, includes three expressions: a blanco, reposado and anejo. A limited-edition extra-anejo that’s aged four years is in the works.

Gonzalez was born in Miami but moved to Guadalajara when he was 15 and has lived there ever since.

He spoke to me recently about how travel inspired his tequila and what the world needs to know about Mexico.”
