About Root:
“Growing up around my father and grandfather who were both drummers instilled an appreciation for rhythm early on. Over the last 12 years I have had the privilege to play in countless diverse musical situations, most recently becoming the drummer for Big Sugar. Aside from that amazing opportunity, the biggest success in my career so far is me becoming a teacher. Being able to share my passion with the next generation and inspire a new wave of drummers is extremely fulfilling. At 21 years of age I’m ready to pursue the next level of live performance. This is only the beginning.”
