Big news – fairly newcomers to the drum market – English brand Code drumheads have made a significant name for themselves in that short amount of time. Just this year Nicko started using Code drumheads with his own signature series of heads. In the below video of the tour of his new British Drum Company drumset he talks about his move from Remo to Code:
“I’ve been with Remo drumheads for many, many years and believe me… such a wonderful company. I said (To Remo) I’ve got an opportunity to endorse a new line of drumheads and have my own head, and it’s a signature head.”
In 2020 we announced that Nick started using British Drum Company drums (here), so should we take a bet that within the next few years he’ll be endorsing a new bass drum pedal and sticks form an English based company? Whooh..the future will tell.

We are incredibly proud to announce that the latest artist to sign to CODE is the one and only …..NICKO MCBRAIN of Iron Maiden.
Nicko has just started the Future Past Tour and will have Code heads on his entire kit.
His Snare and Tom heads were specially designed for him and these will be available to the public to buy in the Autumn.
