Although longtime fans are still debating if the reunion of Pantera should be happening – nobody can deny that Charlie and the band have been performing at the top of their game so far on these first few shows.  The level of interest shown to the band and requests to Charlie about what he is using for this tour is nearing fever pitch.

Charlie took to social media to post about his set up, but that wasn’t good enough for us. The Drumming News Network (DNN) has attempted to breakdown his set up from the images he has posted (Because we’re drum dork’s). If it has an “*” this is an item that is not verified.  We have reached out to Paiste, Tama, and Evans to verify our breakdown, we know it’s close.  We will update this post as they get back to us.

These are exciting times for Pantera fans, the band has been doing an amazing job, especially Charlie.  They have announced a US 2024 tour with Metallica, it seems that will be the first time we can get a live glimpse of this line up on stage in the US.

Charlie posts:

Drum post- a lot of people have been asking about the kit for this tour and here it is- it’s a Tama Drums kit. The tom’s and floor tom’s gong drum are Star maple shells, and the kicks are star bubinga – the snares are my signature snare and a Starclassic G-maple. The cymbals are Paiste Cymbals and as you can see a mix of Rudes and 2002s. Sticks are my signature Vic Firth , heads are Evans Drumheads, Roland provided the TD50x module with their triggers Porter & Davies thumper and that sums it up. I am so grateful for the people who help make all this happen. I couldn’t do it without the love and support. I have been endorsed by these companies for decades now, I appreciate what they do and how they do it. See you all at the upcoming shows.”
