The Collective’s “Drum Performance Camp” Starts 1/23

The Drum Performance Camp is a one-week evening program designed to help drummers improve their technique and versatility in multiple genres and musical situations. The camp is held in person at our facility from 6:00 to 9:00 PM – perfect for intermediate drummers with jobs or school during the day who want to take their career from the practice room to the stage.

Drum Performance Camp:

Instructor: Jason Gianni

Times and Dates: 6-9 PM – 1/23 to 1/27

Students will take Style Analysis, Reading, Drum Technique, and Ensemble Playing lessons. They will also get open practice time to hone new skills they picked up in class.

About Jason Gianni:

Originally from New Jersey, drummer/Author Jason Gianni is a full time instructor at the prestigious Drummers Collective in New York City as well as an adjunct professor at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.  He holds a Master of Music degree from Pennsylvania State University as well as a Bachelor of Music degree & a Minor in Jazz Studies from the University of Delaware, both in Percussion Performance.

Jason is the co-author of the well-known book, The Drummer’s Bible, a guide to popular drum styles which offers approximately 400 musical examples in standard drum notation.
