“Bobnar” Simon Škrlec is a freelancer and elementary school teacher from Slovenia who started drumming at age of 7 in a music school.
He is making drum covers while reading drum notation from different bands. In his library, there are hundreds of drum sheets that were made by his ear.
Simon likes blast beats. Thus, he started putting them into every song in 2012 – so people were “forced” to hear metal drumming. In 2014 he got the golden button in the show “Slovenia’s got talent” where he performed pop music with funny interpretations and fast drumming.
In 2015 he started playing with metal band Melechesh (Nuclear Blast) from Israel and started touring around the Globe.
Bobnar is a funny drum performer and drum teacher who taught many young drummers in Slovenia.
