Latest Drumming News

The WGI Percussion World Championships took place in Dayton, OH from April 20th through to the 22nd.

It was a busy few days in Dayton, Ohio. TAMA | BERGERAULT was there in full force supporting all of our performance partners who took to the floor. So many of our ensembles made it to WGI World Championships this year, and for that alone, we’re extremely proud. Beyond that, there were two division winners along with five top-five finishers. It was an awesome showing all the way around.

All of our performance partners brought an impressive mix of complex choreography and compelling musical creativity to this year’s WGI World Championships. Up and down the competition schedule, TAMA | BERGERAULT was well represented on the leader board and beyond. To start, we’d like to congratulate Meraki and Modulation Z for first place finishes in their respective divisions, and Avon High School for winning bronze in theirs. Broken City, Infinity, Vista Murrieta High School, and Pi Percussion also impressed with their own top five placements. Additionally, Infinity II, Gold, Homestead High School, and Unionville High School came ready to roll with thrilling performances of their own. It was a fantastic weekend, and we could not be prouder to have been there to support these highly talented performers and their dedicated band directors.
