PDP Drumsticks deliver loud, articulate performance at an accessible price, with 100% hickory construction, acorn-shaped wood tips, and three popular size options.
PDP is expanding its lineup with the introduction of new PDP Hickory Drumsticks, built around a simple idea: Made to Be Played. Designed for drummers who want powerful sound, clear articulation, and dependable durability without stretching their budget, the new sticks combine classic materials with a player-focused design.
Made from 100% hickory, PDP Drumsticks are engineered to deliver a responsive feel and the strength needed for everything from everyday practice sessions to high-energy live performances. Whether you’re laying down a tight groove, driving a heavy backbeat, or opening up on the cymbals, these sticks are designed to help you make every hit count.
Built for Attack, Articulation, and Durability
At the heart of the new PDP Drumsticks is their 100% hickory construction. A popular choice among drummers, hickory offers a balance of feel, resilience, and versatility, making it well suited to a wide range of playing styles.
Each stick features an acorn-shaped wood tip designed to produce a sharp attack and clear articulation across drums and cymbals. Paired with a medium taper, the design delivers a lightweight feel and responsive performance, giving players the flexibility to move comfortably between intricate patterns and powerful, full-volume playing.
A lacquer finish completes the design, providing a smooth surface for a consistent feel in the hands.
Three Sizes to Suit Your Playing Style
PDP Hickory Drumsticks are available in three familiar sizes: 5A, 5B, and 7A, offering options for different preferences and playing situations.
The 5A provides a versatile option for everyday playing, while the 5B offers a larger stick choice for drummers who prefer a more substantial feel. The 7A rounds out the range with a lighter option suited to players who favor finesse and a more delicate touch.
With multiple sizes available, drummers can choose the feel that best matches their style, whether they’re practicing at home, recording in the studio, or performing on stage.
Performance That Fits Your Budget
Designed to deliver the sound and feel drummers need at a price that makes it easier to stock up, PDP Hickory Drumsticks put practical performance front and center. Their combination of hickory construction, acorn-shaped wood tips, and medium taper makes them a straightforward option for players looking for reliable sticks without overspending.
