Japanese publishing company Shinko Music Mook will release a new book about and with Terry Bozzio on December 21st. The release with the official title ‘Legendary Drummer Special Feature • Terry Bozzio’ is planned just a few days before his 70th birthday on 27 December. When looking at the cover, the 160 pages will probably all be in Japanese.
The company calls it the ‘Ultimate Terry Bozzio Book’ featuring new interviews, his 60 years in music and detailed specs on his drums. It also includes interviews with his daughter Marina (Aldious) and his Japanese drum tech Mutsutaka “Michi” Edakawa. Terry and Michi have worked in Japan for more than 15 years.
Together with Dutchman Michel Weekhout, Terry calls these guys the two best drum techs in the whole world! Michel Weekhout and Terry have worked together exclusively in Europe for over 25 years. We are not sure if he is featured in the book as well.
To commemorate the release of the book a “Terry Bozzio Special Kit” will be on sale for a limited time. The Special Kit will include the book and some of his official items. The exact details of the Kit will be announced soon.
