Gary Gauger, inventor of the RIMS® suspension/Isolation system gave us an update on the RIMS® Alloy Pro and D Y N A M O U N T ™ stock levels. When GPI Percussion announced in November of 2021 they were going to discontinue producing RIMS®, it came as a surprise. They regretfully did this due to supply chain issues associated with the ongoing Coronavirus impacted economy.
As of today, they are out of stock in many sizes but still have many of the most popular sizes like 10″, 12″ and 13″ RIMS® and are available on their website.
November 2021 Announcement From GPI:
Due to supply chain difficulties and rapidly increasing costs of materials, GPI has decided to discontinue making our RIMS® and Dynamount™ products. What we have left in stock is available on the RIMS® and Dynamount™ Order pages. Any sizes out of stock will no longer be available. In certain cases we may have “factory seconds/slightly blemished” sizes available, in which case we will offer them for sale for a small discount in a separate section below. Thank you to everyone who has supported RIMS® and Dynamount™ over the years. Please note that we will continue to sell our other products available on this website.
