In 2026, Carl Palmer is honoring the music of Emerson, Lake & Palmer through two major projects connected to London’s Royal Albert Hall.
The first, An Evening with Emerson, Lake & Palmer, is an innovative multimedia concert that reunites Palmer with his late bandmates Keith Emerson and Greg Lake. Performing alongside ELP Legacy members Paul Bielatowicz and Simon Fitzpatrick, Palmer plays live while giant video screens feature synchronized footage of Emerson and Lake from ELP’s sold-out 1992 Royal Albert Hall concert. The two-hour show combines live performance and archival footage to recreate classic ELP music for a new generation.
Palmer will also headline the first-ever BBC Proms Prog Rock Prom at the Royal Albert Hall on July 18, 2026. The landmark event celebrates progressive rock with orchestral arrangements of classic works by ELP, Genesis, Jethro Tull, Mike Oldfield, and others, recognizing the genre’s lasting influence on modern music.
Together, these appearances highlight Palmer’s ongoing commitment to preserving and celebrating the legacy of Emerson, Lake & Palmer—bringing the band’s music to audiences through both cutting-edge technology and one of Britain’s most prestigious musical events.
