Drumming News :
ASBA Drums has unveiled the Signature Rémi Serafino, a 14” × 8” snare drum developed in collaboration with the drummer of French experimental metal band IGORRR. Designed to meet the demands of Serafino’s powerful and uncompromising playing style, the new model combines impressive depth and projection with precision, sensitivity and tonal richness.
At its core is a carefully engineered seven-ply shell featuring three wood species. Japanese Tamo ash provides a distinctive exterior grain, while alternating layers of European beech and spruce contribute to the drum’s body, attack and definition. Inside, a figured sycamore maple ply adds a striking visual detail to the instrument’s construction.

The result is a snare built to deliver both authority and nuance, capable of handling aggressive playing without losing the subtle details that bring a performance to life.
Handcrafted in France, the Signature Rémi Serafino reflects ASBA’s commitment to combining traditional craftsmanship with the needs of modern drummers. More than a signature instrument, it is a snare designed to be pushed to its limits.
