Please welcome Pat Steward to the Los Cabos Family.
Pat Steward is proud to announce he is now associated with Los Cabos Drumsticks!
Born on Canada’s West Coast and residing in Vancouver. Currently drumming for Bryan Adams, one of the best-selling music artists of all time. Pat was in the chair for the worldwide classic hit Summer of ’69, as well as the singles Kids Wanna Rock, and, One Night Love Affair, on the over 12 million-selling, Billboard #1 album Reckless. Pat toured with Adams 84-86, including Live Aid, as well as the Amnesty International Conspiracy of Hope tour.
Pat also plays with legendary Canadian power pop/rock band Odds, (6+ albums), New Yank Yorkies, (all star BC-based roots band), and Cobra Ramone.
Associated/endorsed with Sonor Drums & Sabian Cymbals, one of the original Sabian endorsees, Pat has been with them since 1984! He does several drum clinics yearly, and very much enjoys teaching and talking about how he approaches his craft.
A keen student of the drums since high school and a graduate of the Malaspina College Jazz Music Program, besides his current gigs Pat has toured and/or recorded with Colin James, Jimmy Barnes, Matthew Good, Jann Arden, Ridley Bent, the reunited Payolas, Northey/Valenzuela, (with Jesse Valenzuela of Gin Blossoms), Dustin Bentall, Barney Bentall, Sharkskin, Steven Page, Wil, Limblifter, Craig Northey Power Trio, David Gogo, Swan, Whitehorse and many others. and proud member of the Benevolent Artists National Charity.
Along with guitarist Robby Baker from Canada’s favourite sons, The Tragically Hip, and Craig & Doug from Odds, Pat has been a member of Strippers Union for 3 albums.
Pat has won the British Columbia Country Music Association’s Best Drummer Award 4 times: 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2017.
In 2018, after being the drummer on many sessions for him, Pat was recorded by Bob Rock at the Warehouse Studios in Vancouver for Superior Drummer 3 sound library Rock Foundry SDX.
