SABIAN Ltd announce an offering of 250 Limited Edition Serenity Flat Ride Cymbals, a collaboration between world renowned musician, Dave Weckl, and the Master Artisans at SABIAN. Developed over three years SABIAN believes it is the most refined flat ride cymbal ever produced.
With a perfect balance of complex wash and stick tip articulation from a crashable flat ride, the tone is calming and serene. It was tour-tested by Dave while playing with Chick Corea’s Akoustic Band and has already proven to be a star in the studio on his sessions.
The Serenity Ride is handcrafted with multiple hammers – HH and HHX – and the pinpoint tonal grooves are lathed, by hand, across the surface providing an immediate response and buttery feel – a direct result from SABIAN’S decades of Artisanal expertise.
