William Shatner is going full metal — and at 95, he’s not easing in.
The veteran actor and spoken-word icon has announced an all-star heavy album featuring Rob Halford, John Moyer, and former Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo. The project is being produced by Adam Hamilton and Brian Perera, with more big-name contributors still to be revealed.
Lombardo praised Shatner’s fearless approach:

Rather than a novelty, the album is positioned as a serious, high-impact metal release, blending Shatner’s dramatic vocal style with top-tier musicianship. Another Rock and Roll Hall of Fame guitarist is expected to join the lineup soon.
