Dirk Verbeuren has officially unveiled his brand new signature snare drum with Tama Drums, the Megadeth Signature Custom Mk.II—a collector’s piece created for fans and drummers alike.
“I’m very proud to present my brand new @officialtamadrums signature snare drum! The Custom Mk.II is a 12-ply G-Maple with rust finish and black nickel hardware,” Verbeuren shared on Social Media.
Designed in collaboration with Tama Drums, the snare features a heavy 12-ply G-Maple shell paired with smoked black nickel hardware and a striking rust-colored finish developed specifically for Megadeth’s world tour supporting their Billboard-topping final studio album, Megadeth. The same distinctive finish also appears on Verbeuren’s custom Starclassic Maple kit used on stage.
Strictly limited to just 30 units worldwide, this exclusive snare drum is available only through Megadeth VIP packages at select shows during their tour with Iron Maiden across North America, Australia, and New Zealand.
Each stage-played snare drum comes with a pair of Verbeuren’s signature drumsticks from Meinl Stick & Brush and a special Megadeth drum key. To make the experience even more memorable, Verbeuren will personally autograph the snare for fans after the show.
