Designed in collaboration with Stanton Moore, the 20″ FX Lunar Crash sits in the sweet spot between a crash and a ride, featuring seven hammered craters to allow for a warm crash sound and funky ride characteristics. Three asymmetrical rivets add a long, shimmering sustain, complemented by a natural finish underneath for extra control and dark undertones.
The 21” Articulation Ride is a visually unique and sonically versatile concept designed in collaboration with Aaron Spears for clear stick definition without losing the crash. Layered hammering patterns add a dark, rich sound, and the lathed outer edge creates a striking dual-finish.

The Articulation Ride:
The Articulation Ride is a visually unique and sonically versatile concept that was designed in collaboration with Zildjian Artist Aaron Spears.
This cymbal features a focused, clear stick definition, but the lathing near the edge and large cluster hammering increases the flexibility to allow it to open easily for quick, dry crashes that you would not expect from a ride with such great articulation. Its bell also has strong body and great projection despite the cymbal’s dark tonal characteristics.
The layered hammering pattern on the inner natural finish not only creates a dark, rich sound, but produces a striking dual-finish design with the lathed outer edge.

The Lunar Crash introduces a completely fresh take on a cymbal that sits in the sweet spot between a crash and a ride.
Developed in collaboration with Zildjian Artist Stanton Moore, this crash boasts numerous design features that give it a signature sound and look that could only come out of the Concept Shop.
Unique to this cymbal are the addition of seven large, hammered craters near the edge. These give the cymbal a warm crash, and open it up for funky ride characteristics. Three rivets are also added in an asymmetrical pattern for a long, sustained shimmering expression that compliments the dryness of the crash. In addition, drummers will notice a natural finish underside, which adds control and slightly darker character.
