Yamaha is hosting an exclusive drum clinic tour featuring legendary drummer Tommy Aldridge—known for his explosive playing style, acclaimed work with artists including Ozzy Osbourne and Whitesnake, and his ongoing influence as a hard rock and heavy metal clinician.
Taking place across Northern California in June, these clinics offer a rare opportunity for drummers of all levels to learn directly from Tommy as he shares his signature techniques and discusses everything from fundamentals to drumming and performance approaches, as well as stories from his career in rock music that made him famous. Attendees will also experience the power and versatility of Yamaha drums in a live, educational setting.

About Tommy Aldridge
Tommy’s signature style is a rare combination of power, technique, and feel. His performing and recording credits include Black Oak Arkansas, Pat Travers, Vinnie More, Gary Moore, Ozzy Osbourne, and Whitesnake. In 1988, he was voted best rock drummer in the Modern Drummer Reader’s Poll.
Tommy remains very active as a clinician discussing everything from the basic fundamentals of rock drumming to the double bass fills and solos that made him famous.
With his hard-hitting style, flair, and showmanship, Tommy continues to be a major influence in hard rock and heavy metal drumming.
