Drumming News :
Kapiem Drums has officially announced a major transition, marking the start of a new chapter for the custom drum builder. In a recent social media post, the company revealed that it is relocating operations from North Carolina back to its hometown in New Jersey.
The move explains a recent period of quiet from the brand, which has built a reputation for handcrafted, high-quality staved drums. While the relocation is underway, Kapiem Drums reassured customers that business is still open—though with a slight delay in production timelines.
In their announcement, the company shared:
“This recent media silence is due to Kapiem Drums in the process of moving from North Carolina back to our hometown in New Jersey!
We are still taking in orders but builds won’t start until June after the move!! We will be doing a huge sale on all orders between now and then to compensate for your patience!
Here’s to the next chapter in the book of Kapiem Drums!

To thank customers for their patience during the transition, Kapiem Drums is offering a significant sale on all orders placed before production resumes in June. The company framed the move as both a logistical shift and a meaningful return to its roots.
As Kapiem Drums settles back into New Jersey, fans and customers can look forward to continued craftsmanship—and a refreshed start for the brand’s next phase.
