Fentex Percussion from Lijnden in the Netherlands will be selling the Italian brand DS Drums in Germany, Austria and the Benelux Unon starting in March. There’s also product news.
Luca Deorsola manufactures the finest drums in Italy under the DS Drums banner; since 2018 his drum making business has been located in a new, modernized production facility in Recanati near Ancona. Lots of attention to detail, a lot of development work and everything for the sound: These are the cornerstones on which the 25-year success of the small drum manufacturer, which Deorsola founded in 1995 in Turin, northern Italy, rests.
New:
In addition to the flagship series “Custom Rebel Club”, DS Drums now also has the series “Venom” (full maple drums) and “DXS” (made in China) in its portfolio, as well as the new “Mother Nature” snare drums; the latter are LEED-certified due to their low environmental impact.
