Imbued with the careful and meticulous craftsmanship for which Bergerault mallet percussion instruments are known, the new BM50 Marimba delivers the famed sonorous tone and expressive timbres of prior models. However, it also features an assortment of notable enhancements in design and aesthetics that propel the look and performance of the instrument to new heights.
The BM50 retains many core features, such as graduated Honduras Rosewood bars, an Ash frame, and a gas-assisted height adjustment system. Crucially, the BM50 is also equipped with redesigned rectangular resonators, which help optimize the instrument’s height adjustability. Finally, the marimba is available in a range of compelling new finishes.
