Drumming News
The 2025 Winter Guard International (WGI) World Championships in Dayton, Ohio proved to be an unforgettable celebration of talent, precision, and musical excellence — and TAMA Drums and BERGERAULT Percussion were proud to be there in support of the many incredible ensembles that took the floor.
Recapping a Weekend of Phenomenal Performances
WGI 2025 is officially in the books, and what a weekend it was! In early April, we traveled to Dayton to cheer on the incredible performers showcasing their skills on TAMA and BERGERAULT instruments. This year’s championship brought together elite ensembles from across the nation, delivering show-stopping performances that highlighted the dedication and artistry of the indoor activity.
We are especially proud to recognize the achievements of our endorsing groups. Broken City delivered a powerful and emotionally charged show, earning a bronze medal in the Percussion Independent World (PIW) class. Joining them with top-tier finishes were Infinity, Avon, and Unionville, each placing within the top five of their respective classes. These ensembles, along with many others performing on our instruments, left their mark with stunning final performances and innovative show designs.
Congratulations to all of the performers, designers, educators, and staff who made WGI 2025 such a spectacular success. We’re honored to be part of your journey and can’t wait to see what you create next.
