In 2025, Holy China will be available exclusively in Japan from SABIAN’s limited storage unit “AREA51”.
These prototype models come in 14′′ and 16′′ size configurations not typically found in the lineup, each with different specifications.
14′′ comes in two types, brilliant and natural finish. Brilliant finish features raw bells and big hammering for a sharp, wild character. The opposite natural finish is a lathed bell and a shallow hammering, giving it a smooth and delicate sound.
16′′ all-natural finish and varied lip widths from 2-3 inches. A slightly larger traditional hammering is applied to achieve a heavy and deep sound. The unique sense of attack given by 16-row three-holes, which are common to all models, is also healthy.
