Popular and talented drummer Jay Weinberg is one of 8 featured artists at the 2025 Music City Drum Show in Nashville, TN on Saturday, July 19 at 1:00 PM. Currently touring with punk/thrash metal band, Suicidal Tendencies, where he followed Avenged Sevenfold’s Brooks Wackerman, Jay is the son of Bruce Springsteen’s longtime drummer, Max Weinberg. In addition to filling in with Springsteen from time to time, Jay is known for his drumming with Slipknot— replacing the band’s original and legendary drummer Joey Jordison from 2014 through 2023.
