DW Drums has announced that Chad Smith’s 2022 Silver Drum Set will be on display at the company’s booth during this year’s NAMM Show. The last public appearance of this kit was at the DW Drums 50th Anniversary event in fall 2022, making this a rare opportunity for attendees to see the setup up close.
Known for its size, layout, and distinctive finish, the kit reflects Smith’s long-standing preference for expansive, performance-ready drum configurations designed for power, projection, and versatility.
Drum Configuration
Listed from left to right, the drum setup includes an extensive range of toms, snares, and bass drums, arranged to support Smith’s dynamic playing style:
