Brendan has a series called Drummer Plus Drummer where he posts a video of him playing with another drummer. January 26th he released his most recent installment with drummer Butch Norton.

This week’s installment of Drummer Plus Drummer features my friend Butch Norton. I met Butch years ago when we shared the stage at a SXSW Music Festival in Austin, TX. But I had actually been a fan of his playing ever since I first heard his work with EELS. Butch has played with many fantastic artists such as Rufus Wainwright , Tracy Chapman, and Tracy Bonham. Most notably, Butch has been a member of the Lucinda Williams band for over 15 years.
His drumming is creative, adventurous, and groovy. And above all, he has one of the kindest souls in the business. Check out his album “Butch Beats: Original Drum Breaks Vol 1 & 2” and his duo project “A.K.A.
