Eric Carr (July 12, 1950 – November 24, 1991) whose birth name is Paul Charles Caravello, the drummer who replaced Peter Criss has been inducted into the “METAL HALL OF FAME” September 12th.  The event was streamed live and hosted by Cathy Rankin and featured commentaries from Charlie Benante (Anthrax), Bobby Rock (Vinnie Vincent, Lita Ford), Jeff Scott Soto (Yngwie Malmsteen, Sons of Apollo).

During his time with Kiss Eric performed on The Elder, Creatures of The Night, Lick It Up, Animalize, Asylum, Crazy Nights, Hot In The Shade.  His final appearance on a Kiss record was his drum solo from 1981 named Carr Jam 1981 and backing vocals on God Gave Rock ‘N’ Roll to You II from Revenge released in 1992.

A documentary about his early days and his time in KISS has the title “Enter The Fox” that is a follow up to the first documentary about Eric, “Tale Of The Fox” with no release date at this time.
