Vincent got his first drum kit at age 10 when he and his friends started a punk band in Bakersfield, California. Since then, he has played in multiple bands spanning a variety of genres including death metal, experimental rock, and jazz fusion—building his reputation as a talented and versatile drummer.
After moving to Portland, Oregon in 2014, he played drums for local bands Get Real, Neilson Family, Ghost Frog, and Astrocastle. He worked at Halfling Studio as a session drummer with Chris Funk (The Decemberists) and Adam Lee. This experience earned him the opportunity to be a part of Sleater-Kinney’s 2021 album “Path of Wellness” and to subsequently become the touring drummer for their fall 2021 tour.
