Paiste welcomes Sergio Melo to its family.

Sergio Melo is the long-time drummer of the musical reality show, “The Voice Brasil” since it’s first season in 2012. Throughout Sergio’s career as a drummer spanning more than 30 years, he has recorded over 400 studio albums, performing on hit songs for television and film projects as well as touring with some of the country’s most successful recording artists. Over the past decade he has been performing with legendary Brazilian singer Lulu Santos, touring extensively across South and North America and Europe.
In 2021, Sergio has a number of different projects lined up. He will be performing on three different editions of “The Voice” franchise all aired on Brazil’s largest television network, Globo TV. Besides two weekly performances of the original show, he will also be working on the Emmy nominated version “The Voice Kids” and a new spin off called “The Voice +” for singers over 60, scheduled to debut in January. Parallel to his television commitments, Sergio continues to work with Lulu Santos, preparing to launch a new album and world tour in the coming year.
