They are the trusted unsung and often unseen heroes that have been beside some of your favorite drummers. They’ve been everywhere around the world – on stage, backstage, award shows, television shows, photo and video shoots and even in the private jets, homes and studios of major stars..
They set up the kit and take it all down. They are some of the first people to walk into a venue and some of the last to leave. They order, maintain, troubleshoot and fix gear, tune and soundcheck drums, react quickly to issues on stage and backstage…and so much more to keep the show going.
Mike Ledsma has been working the past few years with Cindy Blackman Santana. John “Magee” McGarry has spent the past 15+ years in various roles with Aerosmith and Tim “Soya” Solvan has been working with Primus since the late 1980s! They will share their unique perspectives and experiences – what got them into touring, what their day to day life looks like on the road, their responsibilities, advice, working very closely and personally with musical legends and so much more.
