American drummer, percussionist, educator, and author Nick Petrella brings decades of experience as a performer, clinician, adjudicator, and teacher to his collaboration with Rohema. Together, Nick and Rohema developed two Concert Drumstick models designed to deliver exceptional response, rebound, and playability: the Nick Petrella 5 and Nick Petrella 10 General.
Nick Petrella 5
The Nick Petrella 5 is designed to combine optimized energy with quick, consistent rebound. At 422 mm in length and 17 mm in diameter, it is slightly longer and heavier than the NP10 General. Its long taper and distinctive oval/acorn-shaped tip provide a highly responsive feel across a wide range of dynamics, making it particularly versatile for concert and orchestral playing.
The NP5 is crafted from Rohema’s proprietary laminated Hornwood, specially produced in Germany. A two-step wax-oil finishing process provides a comfortable grip and natural feel, while the wood’s consistent density and rebound help deliver reliable performance without the need for tropical hardwoods.

Nick Petrella 10 General
The Nick Petrella 10 General reflects Nick’s extensive experience working with orchestras, students, clinicians, and performers. Developed as a versatile General model, it features a larger-than-usual rounded tip combined with a long taper for a balanced combination of response, rebound, and ease of playing.
At 416 mm long and 16.5 mm in diameter, the NP10 is slightly shorter, slimmer, and lighter than the NP5. Like its counterpart, it is made from Rohema’s proprietary German-made laminated Hornwood and finished with a wax-oil treatment for a consistent feel and dependable grip.
