Spaun Drums showcased a striking custom 40-ply Maple snare drum measuring 8 inches deep by 12 inches in diameter. Built for powerful projection and a focused, articulate sound, this thick-shell snare combines substantial construction with an eye-catching exotic finish.
The drum features a massive 40-ply, 100% maple shell, designed to deliver increased volume, a focused fundamental pitch, and enhanced crack. Its exterior is finished in Blue Burst lacquer, complemented by an exotic Mappa Burl outer face and Black Nickel hardware, giving the snare a distinctive visual presence.
Vintage Tube Lugs and a Die Cast batter-side hoop complete the hardware package. The thick multi-ply Spaun shell is engineered to reduce excessive overtones and ring while maximizing projection, warmth, and sensitivity.
