Since launching its scholarship program in 2019, the D’Addario Foundation has awarded 83 college scholarships, helping young musicians pursue higher education and build brighter futures. This milestone has been made possible through the generosity of donors whose continued support invests not only in students, but in the transformative power of music education.
This year, the D’Addario Foundation is proud to welcome 10 exceptional students as its newest Foundation Ambassadors. Representing nonprofit organizations supported by the Foundation, each recipient has demonstrated extraordinary dedication to music, academic achievement, and service within their communities. As they prepare to begin college this fall, they carry forward the Foundation’s mission as leaders, role models, and advocates for music education.
Beyond their musical talent, these students embody resilience, perseverance, and possibility. They are mentors, inspirations, and living examples of how access to music education can create meaningful opportunities and lasting impact.
This year’s scholarship class also marks a significant milestone: an unprecedented 90% of recipients will be the first generation in their families to complete college. Their achievements reflect not only their own determination, but also the vital role that community support and access to arts education play in opening doors for future generations.
