A “living book” that includes future updates, David Garibaldi’s Beat Collector’s Manual explores feel, sound and musical identity on the drumset.
The first “living book” of this kind is being released in the music education space, Beat Collector’s Manual by David Garibaldi is a focused exploration of feel, sound, and musical identity at the drumset. It is a digital book that grows with new content over time, and includes direct interaction with Garibaldi via Zoom masterclasses.
Deployed in the Hudson Music digital bookstore, Beat Collector’s Manual includes an initial 13 chapters of instructional content. More chapters will be added, and the book will be automatically updated for all who have purchased it. Book owners will be notified of directly and receive automatically, at no additional cost.
Another exciting aspect of the package is that it includes access to group masterclasses on Zoom with Garibaldi himself. David will discuss, demonstrate, and teach the material and interact with attendees directly in these meetings. The exact schedule will be determined and announced along with the book updates. These video sessions will be recorded and available directly in the book following each event.
