Omar Hakim was admitted to a hospital in the Netherlands on Thursday, May 7, following a brief, undisclosed illness.

Omar is currently receiving excellent care and is expected to make a full recovery. He and his wife, Rachel Z, thank their friends, fans, and followers for their well wishes, support, and respect for their privacy at this time.

Upcoming concert dates will be rescheduled or postponed.
