The German Jazz Prize 2023 Winners Announced

The German Jazz Prize has been awarded since 2021 by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media in cooperation with the Music Initiative. The announcement of the winners, laudations and musical live performances by various nominees – including d&p author Anika Nilles – was followed by an energetic concert evening with over 800 visitors in the sold-out Metropol-Theater Bremen. The award of the German Jazz Prize comes with a trophy and 10,000 euros in prize money. Nominees who did not receive a prize can look forward to 3,000 euros each.
