Stewart Copeland Announces Pre-Orders For His New Book “Stewart Copeland’s Police Diaries”

Latest Drumming News

Available in three distinct, deluxe editions, Stewart Copeland’s Police Diaries based on and including diaries kept between 1976 and 1979 combines scans of original diary pages with new commentary explaining who was who, what was what, and why. They’re illustrated with classic and previously unseen photos from the ‘starving years’ of one of the world’s biggest bands.

The 500-copy Signature edition includes the book plus a CD of previously unreleased recordings of songs made by Stewart in his home studio in 1977 and 1978 – some of which later turned into Police hits – plus a large reprint of a classic Outlandos D’amour poster.

The 100-copy Ultimate edition includes all of that plus a vintage recycled leather-bound copy of the book, and a signed, numbered, Giclée print of a band portrait taken in Sting’s basement in early 1978. Both limited editions will be housed in bespoke clamshell boxes.
