Crimson Red Waterfall is a brand new, limited finish available exclusively on the Starclassic Performer series. It’s a bold blend of multiple rich shades of red, affording the kit an intriguing, high-end aesthetic. The look is further enhanced by Black Nickel shell hardware, and the hand application of the finish ensures a unique custom element since no two shells look exactly alike.
This Limited S.L.P. G-Kapur snare enhances the wood’s already powerful sound using a thicker-than-normal shell, finished in a spectacular Amber Sunset Fade finish.

STAR Bubinga Drum Kits:
STAR is the new flagship line for TAMA drums. It takes the knowledge and research we cultivated for the Starclassic series to the next level, by reexamining every detail to enhance shell resonance.
STAR Bubinga features a much thinner shell than Starclassic Bubinga. In addition, every shell comes equipped with 9mm thick Sound Focus Rings (SFR) for structural support. This shell configuration provides clear projection and resonance to highlight the distinct sound of Bubinga.

STAR Walnut Drum Kits:
STAR is the flagship line for TAMA drums. It takes the knowledge and research we cultivated for the Starclassic series to the next level, by reexamining every detail to enhance shell resonance.
Walnut has long been favored by furniture makers for both its beauty and durability. As a drum shell material, Walnut’s naturally EQ’ed tone has been praised by the drum community for both the stage and the studio. The STAR Walnut shells project booming low end with enough cut to be heard through any mix.

The “Club-JAM” Kit adopts some ideas from vintage kits, such as a cymbal holder mounted directly on the bass drum shell and curved bass drum spurs, further setting it apart from the typical compact kit.

The simple and sweet TAMA Club-JAM Mini kit is just a kick and snare. Its clear yet deep sound from the Poplar shell is just right for those small and intimate gigs. Gong Bass – Gonga Bass New Finishes:
An early TAMA original, the Gong Bass Drum utilizes a 22″ drumhead, mounted Tympani style to a 20″ shell with no bottom head. This design produces thunderous low-end with rich sustain – characteristic of the large Taiko drums of ancient Japan.
