CUTTING
Cutting can be tricky, but we’ve got you. Just provide us with your preferred depth and let our expert team and state-of-the-art machines do the rest.
SANDING
Sanding shells to 150 grit allows us to prepare the shell as a blank canvas for your chosen finishes.
RE-RINGS
Reinforcement ring installation in 6-ply or 8-ply can offer extra stability to your shells, while the additional mass also modifies the pitch, resulting in a higher note.
EDGES
Bearing edges are the contours (angle or round) cut at the edges of the drum shell, and is where the drum head makes contact with the drum shell. The style and quality of the bearing edge has a great effect on the sound of the drum, and we offer several options to choose from.
SNARE BEDS
The snare bed’s function is to let your snare wires sit flat against the resonant head. Gently curved snare bed depressions are cut opposite each other into the bottom bearing edge of the drum, parallel to the throw-off and
butt plate.
HOOP EDGES
We cut one side with a rounded edge for the bass drum claws to hang onto while the other side is flat against the bass drum head.
