Zoom Releases New Field Recorder F3

Latest Drum News

For recording on the fly, Zoom is launching a new device: the new F3 Field Recorder with 32-bit float recording.

Zoom’s new F3 should be able to adapt to any environment without having to reset the device or worry about clipping. Thanks to the dual A/D conversion stages and the low-noise microphone preamps of the F-series recorders, the F3 is designed to ensure high-quality recordings regardless of the environment and situation. The F3 shows the input signal as a waveform in real time on the display. The F3 can also be remotely controlled wirelessly via the F3 Control app for iOS and Android and synchronized with other devices via wireless timecode. The F3 connects via USB to a computer or iOS device, allowing it to be used as an audio interface for recording and streaming two channels at high resolution 24-bit/96kHz. Thus, the new Zoom F3 seems to be the perfect solution for trouble-free audio recording in any kind of environment and application.
